Hopefully we can create multiple author accounts and have them all
post to the email gateway address. Theoretically it will process the
incoming email address and assign it to the appropriate author. We’ll
test to see what happens when a non-author email address is used to
post to the site.
WordPress gets a try in 2012

The email input feature in WordPress is very cool
This is a test of the email-to-wordpress gateway.
Since I tend to spend a lot of my time reading and composing email, it seems like this gateway could be a very convenient way to enter data into my WordPress website. The text entry method is very similar, so it seems to me that one doesn’t really miss much functionality in this mode. The one limitation is that the category starts out as the default that you choose, which of course can be modified later.
So let’s see how this looks in the WordPress site!
